Ngāi Tahu, Te Whakatōhea
Juliet is a professional director with experience across the financial, commercial, and iwi sectors. She currently serves on the boards of ASB Bank Limited, Whai Rawa Fund Limited, Te Kāhui o Ōnuku, Rewiring Aotearoa, and The Skills Group Trust. She was previously a director of Ngāi Tahu Holdings Corporation, Assistant Governor at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, and a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright.
Juliet began her career with Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu, contributing to the iwi’s Treaty settlement negotiations with the Crown. A qualified solicitor in New Zealand, Australia, and England & Wales, she has held senior legal, regulatory, and executive roles both in Aotearoa and internationally, specialising in governance, risk, regulation, and business transformation. She maintains strong connections to her rūnanga Ōnuku and is committed to advancing intergenerational wellbeing and sustainable development grounded in te ao Māori values.
