Concerning: The claim concerns the failure of the Crown to provide for the healthcare of Māori in respect of the sale, supply and consumption of alcohol in Aotearoa. The claimant alleges that the Crown has breached the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi by failing to: • Enact and/or implement all of the policies and recommendations made by the Law Commission in its 2010 Report, Alcohol In Our Lives: Curbing the Harm; and • Ensure the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 is consistent with Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
