Concerning: the failure of the Crown to provide for the healthcare of Māori. The claimant alleges that the Crown has breached the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi by failing to: •Recognise Māori have difficulties in accessing doctors or specialist services; •Address the high cost of transport and consultation fees; •Address the unclear or misunderstood medical information provided to Māori in relation to serious illness; and •Provide equal funding to Māori health service providers.
